Hello, I Sifu John Robertson the Head instructor and coach of the Nottingham Martial Arts Academy and Life Skills School.

 

I have been training in martial arts since 1985 in Southern Chinese systems of kung fu but over the years I also undertook studies in various systems so as to enhance what I had already learned.

 

Through the discipline and focus that I have gained from studying the martial arts and on my own personal journey in life took me to Derby University where I undertook a degree in Law and passed.

 

So from this, I managed to create a system that is focused on several different systems of tiger kung fu.

 

On the 11th November 2018, I was inducted into the Martial Arts Uk 2018 Hall of Fame an accolade that has humbled me for it was an unexpected award
